Who is Cradle & Cane Community Care?
Cradle & Cane is a community-rooted organization based in Menifee, CA, offering support and respite for caregivers through intergenerational care experiences. We host events like Parents' Nights Out, Moms’ Morning Outs, Caregivers’ Days Off, and support groups — both virtual and in person — designed to restore rest, joy, and connection.

🫶 What makes Cradle & Cane different?
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all care. Our programs are designed by caregivers, for caregivers, and built around the idea that care should be shared, not siloed. We’re reimagining the village — one where elders, children, and caregivers uplift each other across generations.

💡 What do you mean by “intergenerational” care?
Intergenerational care means people of all ages — children, adults, and elders — come together in shared spaces to learn from, care for, and enjoy each other. It’s a return to a time when wisdom was passed down, play was shared, and no one was left to navigate care alone.

🌈 What’s the vibe of your events and programs?
Warm. Welcoming. Uplifting.
Think: cozy story circles, calming music, art projects with toddlers and elders side by side, caregivers sipping tea and exhaling. We want our spaces to feel like you've been wrapped in a hug, not handed a clipboard. Joy is medicine here.

⚖️ How is Cradle & Cane connected to social justice?
We believe care is a justice issue. Caregivers — especially women, Black and Brown communities, and low-income families — are often overworked and under-resourced. Our work is grounded in the belief that rest is a right, not a reward, and that support should be accessible to all, not just the privileged few.
We advocate for better policies, like paid family leave and affordable childcare, while also building grassroots care structures right here in our community.
